    Default Obama

I certainly miss President Obama thesedays. I bet he's feeling pretty smug right now about Obamacare not being repealed. I am.

Obama does stand in stark contrast to the Orange Clown.

Do be honest, I was a little annoyed by some of those on the left who seemed to spend the first six years of Obama's administration stating how "very disappointed" they were in Obama. Annoyed in the same way I was annoyed with Nader-voting lefties who claimed Al Gore was no better than George Dumbya Bush.

Obama was a transformational president in many ways, and mostly for the better. There are indeed few presidents who can lay claim to have been truly transformational. Obama is already being recognized for that, and as the years go by he might even crack the "top ten" list of best presidents.

Obama ranked 12th best president by historians in new C-SPAN poll

President Barack Obama ranks as the 12th best U.S. president overall in a new poll of historians conducted by C-SPAN ahead of Presidents Day.
It's the first time Obama was eligible for the Presidential Historians Survey, which asked 91 historians to rank all 43 former presidents across 10 categories. Those include*"Pursued Equal Justice for All," in which Obama ranked 3rd, and "Relations with Congress," in which he ranked 39th.

We didn't have one year of greater than 3% economic growth during his eight years. There is zero chance he ends up in the top ten with that record.

I wouldn't be smug if my signature program was causing insurance premiums to spike by 30-125% in every state of the union.

There's a few things I will say for Obama. He can speak the English language, and he isn't a douchebag (at least in his public persona). I consider those the minimum basic requirements to run for/serve as president. His successor couldn't even read a birth certificate, and hasn't fared much better in the literacy department ever since.

I don't miss him at all as he almost succeeded in destroying the middle class. His stench will be felt for decades.

I will speak for myself, not the other millions that were also disappointed..

It really began w/ his cabinet picks=hardly change now was it?

Most dems & others wanted some form of single payer/universal, what we got was not what we asked for-pelosi & others took it off the table right off the bat, he rolled w/ it..

I don't want to go on & on rehashing~bitching as you might call it but there is one YUGE thing that bothered me about those that cheered for everything he did, eventhough it wasn't what they really wanted~yea, a lot like the trumpfins do now eventhough the dirty is driving "their country" in a totally new, perhaps opposite direction...

Much of what passed for bitching, complaining etc was in fact demanding accountability.. If his own supporters are not going to hold him accountable then who is??

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

I'll give you respect for this post Bill. For far to many people who follow politics it seems any criticism of someone they support is deemed off limits. To me, because I vote for someone doesn't mean they are above criticism. Now there are some who criticize who have unrealistic expectations of what any politician can do but on the whole constructive self criticism is generally a good thing

I don't miss Obama so much as I basically can't stand Trump. Obama was a stuck up snarky tool most of the time.

At least he didn't use twitter. I'm so sick of Trumps crazy tweets, just shut up already.

Who says you have to pay attention to or even acknowledge the tweets?
