That's an interesting take. You'd rather a bible thumping conservative rather than a NY billionaire.

I would rather Al-Baghdadi than Trump.

At the state level there is an recall process, not too easy, but one that can happen. To simply make it so that any congress can define impeachable offenses, would undermine our national government.

To remove a government in this country simply requires that no confidence motion is passed and voted on. That means a general election and possibly the outgoing government being removed or returned depending on the whims and caprice of the great unwashed.

I wish we had that system.

The constitution puts the power of defining what an impeachable offense is in the hands of congress. That's the constitution. It's how it is, and how it has always been. The trial takes place in congress and there is no appeal to the judiciary.

In parliamentary nations they bring down all governments all the time, and parliamentary governments are if anything more stable than presidential ones.

No it really doesn't. It defines certain crimes, but that doesn't mean Congress can just willy nilly call anything a high crime or misdemeanor.

For a while I thought you were just trolling, but I can see lately you are deadly serious about what you post. You are the one who wants anarchy in America, you are the one who is the 'enemy' of America. Wanting to use the impeachment process solely because you don't like the new president, what is your problem? Imagine if pubs had the same ability when Obama was in office.

    You're hysterical.

Parliamentary governments do not use the impeachment process as I think you're trying to equate here. Seriously, are you mental? The leaders are ousted by votes from the people, not Congress or the Parliament. You don't have a single clue how things truly work. You are just an angry boy who didn't get his communist leader voted in.

If you are trolling, then you are truly wasting your time and what talent you may have. Go start a revolution in real life instead of pounding your keyboard in frustration. Do something. Typing your drivel day in and day out does nothing. I say this to you because you type that you really want a complete overhaul of the government. You don't type here to simply discuss politics, you type to want a revolution, get to it and let me know how well that goes for you.

I had to look that up, but I don't see how it is relevant here. Enlighten me.
