    BFD.

There was a movie called Mark of the Devil back in the early 70's that sent promotional barf bags to the theaters to hand out with each ticket.

The promos boasted of it being the first movie to ever be rated "V" for violence.

My best friend and I went to see it in the 7th grade.

We were neither liberal nor conservative and quite frankly, couldn't have even told you what the terms meant.

You must think you stumbled upon some new wrinkle to hang on the left.

    Dumbass.

I never watched that movie, and it makes sense. I am, nor ever was, a pervert degenerate like you.

The fact that you watched it when you were 12 simply means that you're a product of shitty parenting, and got an early start on your path to perversion.

    BINGO!!

Trumpkin desperation to belittle Democrats knows no bounds.

Back in the late70's, there was a strange little Italian horror film called "The Night the Screaming Stopped" a.k.a "The Loreley's Grasp" that advertised "free barf bags" with paid attendance. I drove my little brother clear across town so we could get our barf bags, and to this day I STILL have mine!

No, Granule of Intelligence, what it means is that I was a typical 12 year old who thought that kinda stuff was cool.

You were probably just an over sheltered pussy which is why you try to talk so tough now.

I wish I'd kept my MOTD barf bag.

Who could've known it would become a collector's item?

Well I'm not all into the gore, I like supernatural horror/thrillers but I am nearing 50 so my teen years were full of the horror movies for basically 2 reasons...boobs. But now I am like "ok, we get it your having sex but the scene has no bearing on the plot, get back to the movie"; I still like boobs though.

The Barf Bag, in my opinion, is just an extension, and not a very imaginative one, of the type of showmanship moviegoers used to see back in the 50's from movie producer William Castle.

Castle was famous for his gimmicks like "Percepto", "Illusion-o" and "Emergo".

He'd send skeletons on wires flying over the movie audience, or attach tiny vibrating devices under their seats to elicit a reaction.

I wish I could have seen some of his films in the theater.
