Default I used to think Russia gate was nothing.

I never really believed the conspiracy theory that Rump worked with Russia to help him with the election. I thought it was born out of the "Joke" Rump made about asking Russia to find more of Hillary's emails.

I assumed it came from the dislike of Rump and it was something more concrete to bitch about.

This article, the open FBI investigation and the way team Rump is handling the issue have caused me to change my mind.

    http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/dona...report-n736881

Something is clearly up, some people from the Rump campaign and maybe administration are going to jail. This is worse than Iran-Contra, although Rump and Pence might not be officially implicated, this is only getting bigger at this point.

"Team Trump fired Manafort once it was known he lobbyed for a covert UK operation( i forget the details)

But I agree here he IS doing "political work" to help the Putin government

in strategy memos, Manafort proposed that Deripaska and Putin would benefit from lobbying Western governments, especially the U.S., to allow oligarchs to keep possession of formerly state-owned assets in Ukraine. He proposed building "long term relationships" with Western journalists and a variety of measures to improve recruitment, communications and financial planning by pro-Russian parties in the region.

Manafort proposed extending his existing work in eastern Europe to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Georgia, where he pledged to bolster the legitimacy of governments friendly to Putin and undercut anti-Russian figures through political campaigns, nonprofit front groups and media operations
of course none of this is ties to Trump, and one it was known he was fired

I believe they were fully involved, I just don't know if the FBI will get them. They did not get Reagan or Papa Bush.

You believe that? Its not that I believe Rump was involved with the things Manafort was involved in prior to the campaign, its Rump's associations with so many people who are now known to have been involved with Russian Mafia and Putin. The campaign is full of them. Lay with dogs, you get fleas.

Why were SO many of Rumps associates and campaign personnel involved with Russia, Putin and the Russian Mafia?

Another thing that makes me believe there is something is how incredibly defensive Rump is being. Trying to block every attempt to look into it.

The way Flynn was let go, not when Rump found out, but only when the NYT reported the Russian connection. Rump knew 18 days before the NYT Story, and only fired Flynn the day after the story. The denials and shifting rhetoric. They used to say, "I never met with any Russian officials" now they say, "We never had any illegal contact with Russian officials".

Manafort, Flynn, Sessions, and several others had very significant contact.

The FBI does not investigate without reason to do so.

There was nothing to support birtherism. Did the FBI have a criminal investigation into Birtherism? This is significantly different.

Plus, unlike Rump... I never claimed to have secret evidence that I will one day release.

Funny, call me what you want, its significantly different.

You are so desperate to claim there is nothing there, like when Rump was the Birther-in-Chief, like when he is now the Wiretapper in Chief. His supporters are so gullible you are willing to follow him from Conspiracy theory lie to Conspiracy theory lie over and over again.
