Regardless of this specific incident, Democrats really have no moral high ground on any issue because not only do they tend to be guilty of the same acts or worse in the past, but, as a party, they almost never show consistent outrage when one of their own violates ethics, rules, laws, etc. to when someone outside their party does even a fraction of what they did...

I'm guessing they view this resignation as a "win"... many Liberals on social media are already claiming that this will lead to Trump's "impeachment" also... because they've never been guilty of wishful thinking before...

We're not yet a full month into the Trump administration, and already a Trump appointee is reportedly leaving on ethics violation.

The only U.S. president ever to resign his office in scandal was Richard Milhous Nixon, a Republican.

Democrats almost always circle the wagons around each other and rely heavily on a corrupt mainstream media that is politically aligned with them to protect them against what would normally be impending consequences to their corrupt actions, at all costs. Many times they will begin new lies in order to protect old ones. Trump's Treasury Secretary was just today (February 13, 2017) confirmed 53–47, with no tax evasion in his past. Republicans are routinely held to a higher standard than corrupt Democrats...
