Default A question for Trump supporters. Exactly what is it that you've won?

Exactly what is it that Trump supporters believe they have won beyond the election?

The election was a battle, the war is not over.

It is projected that more than a million Americans will march to protest against the most hated man in American history to ever take office as president on this inauguration day. Trump is now the face of the Republican Party .. and the most rejected president in our history even before he spends one day in office.

Is this the 'winning' that republicans are talking about? Exactly what is it that you've won? Let me guess, you don't see how this story ends?

Even before Trump spends a day in the Oval Office, he's plagued by investigations, scandals, controversies, and massive rejection on a level never seen before in our history. Unprecedented.

Associations with Trump are already so toxic that he couldn't even get A-List country western artists to perform for his coronation. Forget about Beyonce, how about Garth Brooks and the rest of the CW crowd? The one A-Lister he did get doesn't support him.

His connections to Russia has the whole world nervous. Nobody trust him .. not even American banks. A rich guy who the banks don't trust.

NOW, he has to produce. .. in that climate.

How long do you think it will take before republicans turn on him? They never liked anyway, just thrust upon them by the large number of people in their party who thought voting for a celebrity that nobody trusts or like was a good idea.

My question to Trump supporters, what have you won beyond the battle? Everything Trump does will be undone.

The war for the future direction of this nation is just beginning.

    What did you win?

A question for Trump supporters. Exactly what is it that you've won?

Shortly after his own first inauguration President Obama won a Nobel prize, essentially for being not President Bush.

The Trumpsters have won for displacing Obama.

Whether Trump will get a honeymoon with his own Republican congress; if Trump diverges from the old garde, I suspect the oldies will dig in their heels.

I'm not a Trump voter but I can partially answer the question. They won Hillary not being President. They won the right to have Trump pick Supreme Court nominees. This is an assumption on my part but people for decades have spoken about how Presidents make them feel well to the working class whites (males) Trump at least talks about their issues which is loss of manufacturing jobs.

    start with that -that YUGE!
no corrupt warmongering, plutocratic driven, serial liar Hillary in Office..

There is a return to actual governing (instead of XO's) -backed by Constitutional federalism.

Infrastructure / reduction in useless government spending
    Trump team prepares dramatic cuts
    http://thehill.com/policy/finance/31...-dramatic-cuts

Much better management of US/Russian relations back to reality -and not "mono-polarism' ( deligitimization of Russian interests)
and a return to non-interventionism as foreign policy.

No TPP - and possible renegotiations of bad trade deals

Job emphasis on keeping good paying jobs, and not Hillarys "retraining"

I don't know how you can use the words "corrupt", "plutocratic driven" and "serial liar' without seeing how they 100% apply to trump.

1.because Trump hasn't used his Office for malfeasence -as Clinton did with her big donor driven Clinton Foundation.
2.because the cabinet of billionaires he's assembled doesn't just mean more money to the 1%'rs without increasing the GDP
    and making everyone more wealthy.
3.because he didn't systematically lie about his own reasons/uses of Emails ( again while in Office) that Clinton did.

Yes, they won the now, the battle .. but how does this bode well for their future? The wisdom of the white-working class tells them that voting for an unpopular celebrity with no experience in government was a good idea? I would suggest that it bodes far better for his opposition than it does for Trump an his supporters. The white working class marginalizes itself. It doesn't take the media to do that.

Ok. I mean the man isn't even in office yet so I guess I'm not ready to make any great pronouncements.

Hillary Clinton and the Clinton crime family will never be POTUS. A very significant win.

What in the hell is our token negro doing here on JPP? Shouldn't he be in DC protesting? Guess he is too big of a pussy. Or maybe he is afraid Trump will grab his pussy

It's being reported that the Obama's are welcome to stop by the WH for scheduled visits, but they must use the back door.
