Default GOP too terrified to stand up to Trump: ‘Isn’t this how fascists come to power?’ Trav

Robert Reich said Donald Trump had whipped his supporters into such a frenzy that Republicans are afraid to speak out against him.

The economist and former Secretary of Labor recounted a recent conversation he had with a GOP former congressman he’s known for years, and he asked his friend what he thought of Trump.

“Trump is a maniac,” the ex-lawmaker said, according to Reich. “He’s a clear and present danger to America.”

The former congressman admitted he was a coward for not speaking out against Trump, saying that he was afraid of the GOP presidential nominee’s supporters.

“I hate to admit it, but I’m afraid of them,” the ex-lawmaker said. “Some of those Trumpistas are out of their f*cking minds.”

The former congressman said other Republicans were as fearful for their own physical safety, and not just their political futures.

“The Trump crowd is just too dangerous,” he said. “Trump has whipped them up into a g*ddamn frenzy.”

The former lawmaker argued that he wasn’t as bad as Mike Pence, Newt Gingrich or Rudy Giuliani, but Reich said his fears were troubling.

“Isn’t this how dictators and fascists have come to power in other nations?” Reich said. “Respected leaders don’t dare take a stand.”
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

You aren't paying attention if you think there aren't Republicans speaking out against Trump.

The question is why aren't there democrats speaking out against Crooked Hillary? Where are the NeverHillary's? They don't exist. Watch your glass house

Trump is how fascists are defeated.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

If he's a confidant of Reich, and afraid of Trump supporters, he's not exactly a spokesman for the Republican Party....

Hell.....as-long-as Trump was trashing Obama (pre-debates)....and, keeping the general-public distracted from their weak field (of candidates), the GOP was HAPPY AS HELL!!!!

NOW.....they're trying to blame THAT ASSHOLE....FOR THE WAY THINGS HAVE DEVELOPED??!!!!
