Khizr Khan, his wife Ghazala by his side, recounted to the crowd how his son was killed in 2004 by a car bomb in Iraq.
Khan chastised Trump for seeking to ban Muslims, saying that his son, U.S. Army Capt. Humayun Khan, would not have been able to serve under Trump.
“Go look at the graves of brave patriots who died defending the United States of America,” Khan said, addressing Trump. “You will see all faiths, genders and ethnicities. You have sacrificed nothing and no one.”
Trump appeared to try to brush the speech aside, saying that Khan “was, you know, very emotional.”
Trump also said, “If you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn't allowed to have anything to say.”
Pressed to name the sacrifices he’d made for his country, Trump said: “I think I've made a lot of sacrifices. I work very, very hard. I've created thousands and thousands of jobs, tens of thousands of jobs, built great structures. I've had tremendous success. I think I've done a lot.”
Trump also cited his work on behalf of veterans raising “millions of dollars” for vets.
He also questioned whether Khan’s words were his own.
“Who wrote that? Did Hillary's script writers write it?” Trump said.

Lol.
"Billionaire Republican front-runner Donald Trump would be the first to tell you that he is the richest and most generous candidate to ever run for president. From the very beginning of his campaign last summer, he has been touting the $102 million he says he has donated to charity over the last half decade.
“I give to hundreds of charities and people in need of help,” Trump told the Associated Press in August. “It is one of the things I most like doing and one of the great reasons to have made a lot of money.”
Perhaps Trump likes donating to charity so much because he has figured out a way to do so while still hanging on to all that money he’s made. A Washington Post investigation into the Donald’s charitable donations over a five-year period—93 pages’ worth of 4,844 contributions—found that not a single one of those contributions came from his own money."

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."
I love watching the hack lapdoggies trying to spin this bozo's cavalcade of catastrophes into a positive.
When Khan said "you have sacrificed nothing and no one" it brought a lump to my throat. And all that jerk can do is criticize Khan's wife.

I swear; I can't remember a public figure - or anyone - who had such a limitless capacity to completely disgust me.
Trumpovitch reminds me of JPP con M E N who spout ant-Islamic rhetoric on JPP but are too frightened to go to the the Middle East and fight ISIS.
