Some excellent comments from a military leader.

'Gen. McChrystal Endorses Joe Biden For President'

“I heard him stumbling on trying to remember my husband’s name. And that what’s hurting me the most. Because if my husband was out here fighting for our country, and he risked his life for our country, why can’t you remember his name?” Talking to Trump about her fallen husband, Myeshia Johnson said, “made me upset and cry even more.”

I hope that none of my fellow vets still support this egregious fool Trump.

I do not understand veterans supporting the Republican party. Trump's campaign has already shown how they will treat vets, they delayed handing out the charity checks, they will be ineffective in getting the Republicans to do anything for the vets.

If Trump is President we may see lawsuits against Congress triple.
There's two things here: support for the Republican party and support for Trump. They are not the same thing.

Additionally, in a nation where "voting for the lesser evil" are the main two choices, Veterans often consider the Republican party the lesser evil.

I have to disagree, neither are evil although each has its good and bad. But the republican party has been bought by money and the reader will come to understand that if they do some investigation. A hard question though is who reads today given the dominance of social media.

Thanks for the book titles. Proves nothing. Junior wrote a book too. None of it proves one is better or less evil than the other or why Vets lean right.

I hope you take offence and think a moment before posting such lame nonsense. Content and quality doesn't count! Donald Jr is so stupid the CIA came to the conclusion he wasn't smart enough to conspire with the Russians. And even this nonsense was most likely not written by him. Read smart stuff my friend and you too shall see. Of course you are free too to remain in your mental closet. Start with 'Invisible Hands'. Good luck.

All my fellow vets have a great day, every day.

"Honor to the soldier and sailor everywhere, who bravely bears his country’s cause. Honor, also, to the citizen who cares for his brother in the field and serves, as he best can, the same cause." Abraham Lincoln

""We cannot walk alone," the preacher cried. "And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead. We cannot turn back." America, we cannot turn back. Not with so much work to be done. Not with so many children to educate, and so many veterans to care for. Not with an economy to fix and cities to rebuild and farms to save. Not with so many families to protect and so many lives to mend. America, we cannot turn back. We cannot walk alone. At this moment, in this election, we must pledge once more to march into the future. Let us keep that promise - that American promise - and in the words of Scripture hold firmly, without wavering, to the hope that we confess." Barack Obama

Most vets I know voted for Biden, eight to two in our close family.

    https://www.militarytimes.com/news/p...ote-for-biden/

"The real Trump buried himself in blunders and couldn’t deliver on campaign promises to voters. Instead of saving manufacturing jobs and protecting, as he pledged, “the jobs, wages and well being of American workers before any other consideration”, the Trump administration eliminated paid overtime rules, created tax cuts for the rich and lost 740,000 manufacturing positions this year alone."

    Agreed not true for everyone.

You know Executive powers are defined by the Constitution, but the real power lies with Congress, as it should. If Congress wusses out and punts to the White House then we should collectively start electing better people to Congress.

Trump plays a spoiled rich boy's game with legislation, all things are about him, they never approach real human awareness or concern for another. Narcissism is a poor and dangerous trait in a leader.

    https://www.militarytimes.com/news/p...-override-him/

"It’s a rich boy’s privilege to see the poor and downtrodden as pawns in a political game rather than as individual people in desperate need. The idea that Donald Trump actually cares about the [military] financial realities Americans face is ludicrous. Now that he is on his way out, it’s increasingly obvious he’s only loyal to himself."

President Trump kept America out of war for four years.

Your boy Biden will have Americans back in harm's way within a year.

The military industrial complex is a big special interest for you leftists.
