You ever read The Wild Blue, by Stephen Ambrose? It was about McGovern's B-24 pilot days in WWII. SOmething he refused to let his campaign use much of in 1972. How anyone that flew that milktruck of a plane into AA fire and still be labled as weak on defense is beyond me.

Maybe, I will check that out. I can't say I really know much about McGovern, but I do know you can't get much worse than Nixon.
The fact that Republicans are going back and trying to revive this guy shows how far away they are from libertarians. He may have had more to do with creating the LP than Nolan, Hospers, Rand and Rothbard combined.
