I love how illegal immigrants turn into partners with Al Qaeda in the Neoconservative movement...

They think illegal immigrants are using taxpayer money and training the federal coffer with education benefits, healthcare, and governmental services....
They feel that illegals are being subsidized by hardworking American citizens....
Ok fine. Lets say thats the case. They really dont care that illegals are here or not as long as they dont take extra money or live beside them.
So why dont we fucken just end the War in Iraq. Use all that money to pay for extra health, education, and services to American citizens.
Ok how about it? Conservatives and neolibertarians?
Deal or No Deal?

I'm pretty sure the main concern on illegals is they don't play by the same rules and thus throw off the competitive balance of the marketplace.

No dumbass..... Americans dont care about rules...
All Americans care about is money....They think illegal immigrants are costing the government to pay for their health, education and services...
They also think illegals are taking money away from Americans....
Fuck the marketplace....What a dumb Republican answer...

I'm pretty conservative and your dismissal of the worry is unfounded. There are good reasons to assume that with the porous border to the South, Spanish speaking terrorists could have an easy in.
Speaking just for me, however. My biggest concern with illegal immigration is not terrorism, rather a combination of the exploitation of the immigrants and their refusal to 'assimilate.' I don't blame them for the later, they are not entering planning on staying, yet they do. So do their children.
The "competitive balance of the marketplace" is a myth -- and a bogus one at that -- to begin with. Secondly, there's little if any solid evidence that illegal immigrants take any federal or state subsidies or benefits that they don't, collectively, more than make up for in lost taxes.
Finally, while, to some extent, illegals may be taking jobs that Americans would otherwise fill, the jobs in question tend to be very low wage, low benefit jobs for which there's little demand among U.S. workers and which tend to be in locations inaccessible to most U.S. low wage earners. A guy sitting on a street corner in Detroit ain't gonna pick artichokes in Monterey County and, if he did, he'd only do so for far higher wages than are currently being offered.
I don't like seeing Americans idled by lack of jobs. Still, I don't like seeing Mexicans or Guatemalans unemployed either. These aren't, by and large, the sort of jobs that are going to make much difference to unemployed Americans.
To put it another way, I think that the anger at illegal immigrants has been blown WAAAAaaay out of proportion amongst many Americans. It's comically overstated and really rather pointless.

Libertarians aren't "mad" at illegal immigrants. Libertarians believe that they have a right to live where they wish. Libertarians would be more angry at the idea of their status, where they are treated as poorly as the employer wishes, giving the employer the power of force over the individual. The government works in tandem with the employers to create "cheap" labor that winds up costing far more in the long run, in both societal issues and monetary.
Now any sane person could realize that the open borders create a problem when considering terrorism. Shoot, the only sure terrorists we have caught crossing the border came from your neck of the woods. You can keep them.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.
