I wish I was as good a person as my dog.
Really I do.
Thanks Damo.
grind is damo?
I believe the saying is, "I wish I was as good a person as my dog thinks I am."
Though I would not presume to know what Beefy meant to say. The odds are, he said exactly what he meant.
Here lies the body of Mary Lee; died at the age of a hundred and three. For fifteen years she kept her virginity; not a bad record for this vicinity.

You guy are dense. I'm as sober as a judge.
Don't athropromorphise your dog! He's a dog damnit and as much as you aspire to being a dog you'll never be the dog that your dog is and your dog is doggone proud of that fact. So don't insult the dog by calling him/her a person as you should be bit for doing so. I also noticed that his balls are bigger than yours.
BTW, fine lookin fella there. What's his name?

He was making fun of my literalism. It isn't rocket-comedy or something.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.
