Default Sanders' Campaign: Collapsing It From Within.

    How is that possible?

How can one oppose what the “billionaire class” [Sanders’ words] does at home, yet support what it does worldwide?

Domestic and foreign policy are two sides of the same coin.

The trillions squandered on military hardware and war fall inevitably on the working class as ‘austerity:’ budget cuts, pay cuts, failing infrastructure, pensions canceled, services slashed, and more – which brings us to Sanders.

He rails against Wall Street greed…yet supports imperialist wars waged in the interests of the very same financial elite.

    How is that possible?

He supported the authorization for use of force against Al-Qaeda, which has been the justification for just about everything in the Bush and Obama administrations. However, the only member of congress to oppose that was Barbara Lee (yes, Ron Paul did support it; in fact, later he mocked Barbara Lee for opposing it, he said the only reason she opposed it was because she wanted to put the money towards food stamps for "those people"). Sanders voted against the Iraq war though.

That is a lie. Alzheimer Reagan was 69 11 months when he was sworn in just 16 days before his 70th birthday, Clinton is 68 right now, in November when she is elected she will be 69 and one month. When elected Bonzo was 69 and 10 months. when she is sworn in she will be 69 and 3 months.

    Dear Eno L. Camino:

Senator Sanders voted against the Gulf War and Desert Storm. He also voted against the Iraq War and Operation Iraqi Freedom, and he voted against the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Senator Sanders' approach to Libya was more nuanced. The Senator expressed discomfort at action against Libya while the US was already involved in Afghanistan and Iraq. At the same time, he supported regime change in Libya. Currently, Senator Sanders view on Libya is an open question as the Pentagon is currently preparing yet another war against Libya.

In the past, Senator Sanders supported S J Res 45 authorizing the use of US Armed Forces in Somalia. He has said to have supported Clinton’s bombing of Kosovo, although in the admittedly limited time I invested in this, I haven’t what I consider conclusive evidence of the same.

In 1999, Bernie voted for HR 2465, which provided $4 billion for military construction, and he voted for HR 3196, which provided: $2.16 billion for military and economic assistance to Israel; $760 million for military and economic assistance to Egypt; $535 million for Eastern European and the Baltic States, including $150 million for assistance to Kosovo; $300 million for military and economic assistance to Jordan; and $285 million for international narcotics control.

In 1993, Mr. Sanders supported HR 2446 - Military Construction Fiscal Year 1994 Appropriations Bill, which provided $3.63 billion for military construction.

That same year, he also voted in favor of S J Res 45 - Authorization for Use of US Armed Forces in Somalia, which authorized President Bill Clinton to use US troops in Somalia for the purpose of providing logistical support to the United Nations peacekeeping force.

Senator Sanders also voted for any number of appropriation bills, and he supported other pro war measures such as the March 21, 2003 resolution: “Congress expresses the unequivocal support and appreciation of the nation to the President as Commander-in-Chief for his firm leadership and decisive action in the conduct of military operations in Iraq as part of the ongoing Global War on Terrorism.”

In 1994, Bernie voted in favor of HR 4453 - Military Construction FY95 Appropriations bill, which provided $2.52 billion for military construction.

In 2004, Bernie supported HR 4613, which allocated $25 billion for emergency defense spending for operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and $77.4 billion for the procurement of new weapons.

More recently, Senator Sanders voted in favor of the $1 billion aid package for what I deem to be a fascist coup in Ukraine.
