Yesssssss! I seen U2 in concert twice, once at the Oakland Coliseum, the other time at the San Francisco Cow Palace back in the early 90s. Oh my, when he sang this song, I was mesmerized. Ha!!!

Thank you! Another singer that gives a good show is Harry Connick, Jr. Seen him in Mountain View at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. His father was in the audience and got on stage to sing with his son. Truly wonderful.

One the things I miss about living in the Bay Area is the concerts.

I can see that. We used to live in STL; now we're in the UP of MI. Our headliners here are washed-up country music and rock performers who play at the native-owned casinos. Like names you never heard of. Actually, it was almost as bad when we lived in STL. Elton John did come to town once, and performed in a lovely downtown venue a few years back. I couldn't afford tickets but did join the counter-counter- protesters blocking the WBC who came there to hold up signs about gay. lol Oh, and the Beatles played in the old Busch Stadium in the mid-60s. But I was only 11 or 12 and my parents wouldn't let me go.
