Well, I didn't used to be, as at one time I even hated Metallica, NIN, and Pantera, etc.

But, that was back in the days when Rock music was somewhat still alive.

After Rock totally died, I backtracked and now appreciate hearing that kind of stuff.

"Walk" is one of my favorite juke box selections now! LOL!

SO I was the same, but lately gotten into all sorts of crap, dove into the hedphone/amo/dac game. I run an adi-dac2 > spl phontior > various headphones from focal and audeze..... I grew a new appreciation for the genre. I think this is one of the best things I have ever heard, and it sounds like a root canal. lol

to me this I hated but its pure brilliance.

I still have High End speakers and a nice 250 watt RMS Onkyo Audio/Video receiver, but I don't invest in it anymore, and even those are way too much for my house. I should probably scale back a bit. I used to be into the Dual Mono systems like yours though back in the 80's and 90's.

Most of my mad money is spent on Guitars and Tube Amps these days. I am stuck in Ground Hog Day or something, because every time I buy one- I get this same old feeling of, "I just need one more"! IT SEEMS TO NEVER END!

I just get on a vibe, and go in that direction, and something always comes along and sweeps me off my feet, and here I go again!

To tell you the truth, I am currently into Rockabilly and Psychobilly stuff here of late. I suppose because that is what the guys I jam with are into. But then, I also play a lot of acoustic junk as well.

This guy is my new GUITAR GOD that I am following. STUFF LIKE THIS!

    https://www.youtube.com/user/justinjohnsonlive

Check out Justin Johnson and some of his videos! I think you'll be amazed with this young guitar freak- and I do mean freak! And yes, he actually has more guitars than I do!

I do not understand the stage, but what a show:

I choose my own words like the Americans of olden times........before this dystopia arrived.

    I just love this song:

Interesting Fact: For about five years Google has concluded that I am a primarily Spanish speaker....I know by the ads they show me.

The only possible reason is that I watch so many Marc Anthony YouTubes.

    Great song...

I recall some of the early police was way off the charts for the time as well........

When I heard some of it years later I found it hard to believe it was actually the Police..

I think it probably took a good producer to whip the Police into shape! That's normally what makes a difference between a band making noise and making music. The Police were pretty well produced by the time they started cutting records.
