"Anarchism does not mean bloodshed; it does not mean robbery, arson, etc. These monstrosities are, on the contrary, the characteristic features of capitalism. Anarchism, or Socialism, means the re-organization of society upon scientific principles and the abolition of causes which produce vice and crime."

Good for him! It's funny how catchy those TV show songs and commercials can be. I worried a lot about my oldest daughter when she was an infant/toddler. She didn't talk other than a word here and there. But she could sing with near-perfect pitch -- and all the words too! -- TV commercials and a song that I used to sing to her:

She still sings, and has the voice of an angel.

I started getting into Surf about 10+ years ago, amongst various other genre but what I found surprising is the role "western" (as in country & western) music played... They say the blues had a baby & the called it rock n roll, & so "western" to had a baby, & they called it surf.......... Although there were other awesome contributions & influences as well like Dick Dale who played in the C&W band & did Greek & Lebanese gigs on the weekend.

Not sure what genre you'd put this old group into.... jazz, maybe? Folk?

What an odd coincidence. Two of the ppl on my "It's so-and-so's birthday today" FB thing have passed away but their pages are still there and active, kept so by family members who miss them. Gurhan and Allen, this one's for you:
