Obama Sets Sights On The Elderly’s Guns

It won't just be the elderly that are at risk. It will also be law-abiding firearm owners who have elderly people that live with them. And don't think for one minute having kids in your house won't put law-abiding firearms owners at risk. The schools will question the kids too!
Case in point:
My neighbor will be at risk.
His elderly mother-in-law lives with him. He inherited that task when he married his wife a decade ago.
Now, ten years later, she can't even care for herself and should be put in a home so they can clean up when she shits and pisses on the floor.
But, through the county arm of the Social Security department, there is someone that comes to the home five days a week to care for her during the day. The other two days, a bus picks up her and her wheelchair and takes her to the facility in San Bernardino that the ISIS muslime couple shot-up last month (it just re-opened on the first).
At that facility, she has movies, bingo, therapy and doctor visits. And those questions will be asked of her regarding guns in HER home (in Spanish, of course because she never bothered to learn English even though she's been in this country for over 30 years).
She doesn't like her living arraignments as she lives in HIS home and can't rule the house as she used to. And that pisses her off to no end and has caused a slew of problems and "events" in the past.
As my neighbor is a law-abiding firearm owner, shooter, and a bullet-making hobbyist, she KNOWS that firearms exist in the house. She hates her son-in-law and will have NO trouble informing the doctors and social workers down at the center WHEN she's ask those obama mandated questions.
My neighbor is now at risk. And so is the rest of America's law-abiding firearm owners.

Obama May Take Guns from Social Security Recipients

Some of us have made New Years resolutions to become better people, visit new places, and try new things. But President Obama’s New Years resolution is something less admirable; to take the property of as many citizens as possible, starting with the elderly. The President is going to use Social Security as a method to track people who are too old to own guns.

President Obama said last year guns are the one area he is “most frustrated with” to BBC. With a Republican House and Senate blocking much of his plans throughout his two terms, Obama was all but powerless to implement any of his “common sense gun control legislation.” But the president now feels he can wait no longer wait to act on guns; it is time for executive order.

The White House stated when describing the line of gun control that some on Social Security would be among those targeted:

“Current law prohibits individuals from buying a gun if, because of a mental health issue, they are either a danger to themselves or others or are unable to manage their own affairs. The Social Security Administration (SSA) has indicated that it will begin the rulemaking process to ensure that appropriate information in its records is reported to NICS. The reporting that SSA, in consultation with the Department of Justice, is expected to require will cover appropriate records of the approximately 75,000 people each year who have a documented mental health issue, receive disability benefits, and are unable to manage those benefits because of their mental impairment, or who have been found by a state or federal court to be legally incompetent. The rulemaking will also provide a mechanism for people to seek relief from the federal prohibition on possessing a firearm for reasons related to mental health.”

The same fact list describes other chilling implementation methods. In order to enforce these new rules, the White House also plans to add up to 200 new agents to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and 230 to the FBI to review the background of gun purchasers. This combined force, nearly 450 in total, dwarfs the Pentagon’s ISIS team. It should therefore go without saying Obama sees American gun owners as more of a threat than the Islamic State.

If you’re a senior citizen, it may be time to hand those firearms down while you still can; your days are numbered. In addition to using Social Security as a list of whom to disarm, Obama has hinted he wants to use the national no-fly list as a template as well, which contains anyone from 6 year-olds to US Congressmen. Once that executive order is enacted, it’ll be time for everyone to buy and hide their guns; not just the elderly and those who have contributed their whole lives for their Social Security benefits.

I talked to my neighbor last night.

He has already told his MIL (through his wife who translated) that if she says or does ANYTHING about firearms being in the house, she will be out on her ass and in a convalescent hospital the next day.
