Thinking and believing aren't the same thing, one is mental the other is spiritual!

In Islam it is treason... to betray the faith and the community.

I believe the real definition is someone who pretends to be a Christian, in order to cause trouble in a church or group of believers.

false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds” (2 Cor 11:13-15).

False apostles. Meaning they never knew Christ. Every Christian receives the Holy Spirit. It's impossible for someone who knows Christ to reject Him, so Christians cannot be apostates. You would be better off substituting apostate with imposter.

    There's also this.

“They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work” (Titus 1:16)

apostasy is worthlessness to Father. unprofitable. unusable. unfit. most apostates are not in churches. they hate church people. total apostasy is when the church people are acclimated with the damned.

Apostasy is treason... to betray the faith and the community.. Lots of church going Christians do that.
