It is interesting to note that societies that need leaders the least are the societies that produce the most high quality leaders. I would argue that this is due to the masses of that society having a high median skill set and levels of talent that doesn't require high levels of supervision to do productive work.

what data did you use to concoct this theory?........what is a "society that needs leaders the least"?......if they don't need a leader, is their leader a high quality leader or a lower quality one who is coasting because his society functions without a leader?......

From empirical observation. For example if you note that that in a nation like ours where the masses are, by and large, well educated, have many and varied skills, are career oriented and self oriented that people seem to be the most productive when they have the least supervision and that leaders tend to be very transitory and easily replaced. For example in our nation when elite political leaders leave office and power after a relatively short period they are easily replaced by men and women just as capable and that the transition has little if any dislocation.

you realize that it would also be explained by saying that if a country runs smoothly by itself any dickless, halfwit can look like a high quality leader even if he knows jack shit........in fact, the Obama presidency is empirical evidence of this.........

sure it is......you claim you've based your research on empirical observation.......what you've empirically observed for the last sixteen years has been the Obama administration and the Bush administration.....certainly you didn't decide this country produced great leaders based on those observations........face it, you looked at incompetence and came to faulty conclusions......
