    EXACTLY!

They say over and over "guns don't kill, PEOPLE do".

The same rationale can be applied here...

"pot doesn't cause hallucinations, abnormal brains do."
What kind of country have we become?

One in which federal prosecutors can take “evidence” before a “grand jury,”

and that grand jury can “vote to indict” a former president for 91 alleged “crimes”?

    ON THE NOSEY!

I see quite the rush to judgement from the same conservatives who wailed and moaned about people not waiting for all the evidence to be presented during the Zimmerman trial.

For some reason, they don't seem to care that the marijuana use is only ALLEGED at this point.

I have read about this as well and look forward to its benefits.

The nice thing about natural substances like marijuana are that they don't have the side effects that you experience with pharmaceuticals.

Doctors give you a pill for pain, it makes you itch, so they give you another pill to get rid of the itching, you then get constipated, so they give you another pill. It's ridiculous.

"It has the same scent, shape and taste as the original plant — it’s all the same — but the numbing sensation that users are accustomed to has disappeared,”

I thought the numbness was the reason it was medicinal.....

It is for treating pain. This is for treating non pain related medical issues.

A Denver woman was allegedly shot to death by her own husband while on the phone with police after he consumed marijuana edibles and began hallucinating.

Kristine A. Kirk clung to her phone with a 911 dispatcher for nearly 15 minutes before her final scream was accompanied by a piercing gunshot late Monday night, NBC reported. When officers arrived at the 44-year-old's home they reported finding the mother of three dead at the scene after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. Her husband, Richard Kirk, 47, was taken into custody on suspicion of first-degree murder.

Kirk had allegedly been "talking about the end of the world and [saying] he wanted her to shoot him," moments before she was killed, 9News reported. Kristine allegedly told dispatch that her husband was hallucinating and scaring their young children, an officer confirmed to the Daily News.

A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

Is there ANY proof at all that smoking pot had anything to do with it? If so, how common of an occurrence is this compared to alcohol related shootings?

Guns and drugs don't kill people. Killers do.

The more we can convince people to choose weed over alcohol, the better off our society will be in all regards.

These anti-pot zealots are as hilarious as "reefer Madness".

4x as many people die from drugs than guns every year.

I can see this becoming an issue in the future. Ingesting weed, especially if you aren't the one who made the edibles, can be pretty intense. Nothing like the buzz from smoking.

They might have to include recommended dosages for those who buy these high potency edibles.

Personally, I don't like the buzz from eating it.
