traditionally, fast food jobs were filled by teenagers. however, because of the lousy economy, more and more jobs that used to be filled by the young are being filled by adults and heads of households. this demonstrates why jobs that were usually part time (and still are so as not to require benefits) need to have floor wages, but need more full time jobs as far as hourly wages are concerned. just remember that you too may lose your substantial job and be working for minimum wage after job is shipped out of the country.
