There's a reason low skilled workers make low wages. When you figure out the common thread, you'll understand why.

What would be interesting to see is if all those like Buffet that said something SHOULD be at a certain level voluntarily did it with their businesses. What's stopping all these people from doing it without the government setting the level?

This is complicated so I know you wont follow it but here goes. People need disposable income to buy stuff in an economy based on consumption.

This is easy and you still won't be able to follow. If people need a higher income, provide a skill worth that amount instead of begging the government to force employers to pay you what YOU know you can't earn because of the low skills you provide.

Let me see now. Buffet says something should be done yet refuses to do it voluntarily. I'll go with hypocrite.

Must be sad to know you were born inferior to me and there's nothing you can do about it but live out your miserable life as such.

Give as little as possible. That's what capitalists are trying to squeeze out of menial workers to profit on mass scale with miniscule margins to sell cheaply to cheapass consumers.
Isn't an approach that demands reciprocal understanding of minimum needs worthy of consideration? If it's war, don't fucking say I can't unionize the country and doom the capitalists.
If it's less than war, then minimum wage is as legit as any managerial requirement that I as a worker must meet insofar as performance is concerned.

    Think!
What a pathetic, uneducated and moronic screed. You really do have a low IQ don't you?

Then people will need to do a little planning, won't they? A person has to ask himself, "will a job at McDonalds get me the shit that I want, or should I leave that position to a high school/college kid, and go out and get a real career?"

Now, I realize that you're helplessly tied to the anti-growth/anti-personal responsibility way of thinking, but this is not your idiot utopia. We build dreams in America, not nightmares.

I bet it averages more than $15. $50 per hour?

That a human being should be paid an amount that is sufficient to survive if all his/her efforts are devoted to his master's business
is a far better a priori formulation of master servant relations than I can pay labor a little or much as I choose or can get away with.
I know this is a waste of time but, might as well show what a dumbfuck you are......

Who is forcing anyone in this country to work for less than what they think they can get?
