Because a $15.00 per hr minimum wage will create more jobs, right Warren?

because unskilled labor should be paid more... just because they say so? If you want better pay, go get a skilled job.

Cool! Warren is rich enough to buy every fast food company and pay the 15/hour he thinks is such a great idea. He's a hypocrite for not doing so

It's a bit like a king declaring everyone should enjoy a royal feast but offering nothing to anyone

Not trying to be an ass but I'd recommend to the individual in the cartoon they work to move up to a more managerial position at McDonald's or go find a job that pay's a living wage.

It will take two jobs at 7.50/hour and create one to replace it.

You're not very good with math, are you?

Of course ken and the CNN headline don't tell the full story. What Buffett said:

"If you could have a minimum wage of $15 and it didn't hurt anything else, I would love it," he said. "But clearly that isn't the case."

You mean the thread title and article headline were a bit misleading? No way!

But here's the reality. Some jobs aren't meant to be living wage jobs. Mr. Buffet knows it. He also knows that the $15 benchmark some have set would not only be bad for business but for the economy as well. Like Mr. Buffet, I'd love to see a rise in minimum wage, but it has to be within reason and I don't know what that is.

But but but... they asked if people wanted fries with that. That is easily a skill worth an extra $7/hr

Quality will go up slightly... though the food is still shitty.
