Default Question for our left wing friends

So there has been a big kerfuffle over the recent CBO report about 2 million people voluntarily becoming less productive. Now can some of you explain how it is good for our economy when people decide to become less productive and take on more government handouts?

How do we all benefit by that?

How will deficits not go up if they are now paying less money into Social Security, Medicare and income taxes and become a net drain?

    Please explain.

Well ILA....there's this thing called hiring. Companies often do this when employees resign.

Expound? Are you saying all 2 million positions will just get filled? What about the new welfare additions?

Why would people not make the same decision to stay unemployed?
