Default Katy Perry's Geisha AMA performance racist?

Where is the line, if there is one, between being multi-cultural and celebrating other cultures and being insensitive to other cultures and just flat out racist? Where does Katy Perry fit in here?

Katy Perry’s sexy Geisha AMA performance called racist

Katy Perry opened this year’s American Music Awards on Sunday night with a performance of her song “Unconditionally” — while dressed like a Geisha, wearing a kimono and singing in front of a backdrop that included floating lanterns, cherry blossoms, giants fans and bowing dancers. The performance is being called racist by some media properties and the Twitterverse. Watch the performance and let us know what you think in the comments.

There are some serious arseholes in this world who only fucking live to be offended, they are usually white liberals but I doubt anyone Japanese gives a shit. If anything was offensive it was the song itself.
