For real Mott? Today is my mom's birthday too. How did your sister react to her birthday being on 9/11 at first? My mom wouldn't celebrate hers on the day for several years...actually maybe about five. I finally talked her into going back to her real birthday.

Another liberal pauses for sober reflection on the anniversary of a national tragedy and honors the memories of 9/11 victims:

All these somber reflections on what it means to be American on September 11...I'm all choked up.

I'll say it again .. history will demonstrate that the saddest and most tragic outcome of 9/11 will be how easily Americans were duped into a war without end.

Today, America SUPPORTS the very elements who they've been told were behind 9/11 .. and they use YOUR tax dollars to do it.

    Yes, YOU support Al Qaeda.

Perhaps that should go into the memories and prayers for those who lost their lives on that day.
AMERICAN HISTORY ITSELF IS A TESTAMENT TO THE STRENGTH AND RESILIENCE OF AFRICAN PEOPLE. WE, ALONG WITH THE COURGE AND SACRIFICES OF CONSCIOUS WHITE AMERICANS, LIKE VIOLA LIUZZO, EVERETT DIRKSEN, AND MANY OTHERS, HAVE FOUGHT AND DIED TOGETHER FOR OUR FREEDOM, AND FOR OUR SURVIVAL.

In America, rights are are not determined by what is just, fair, equitable, honest, nor by what Jesus would do. Rights are determined ONLY by what you can DEMAND.

Thanks for posting this, good Brother.

My heart also goes out to those who lost loved ones that day.

Oh she was horrified. Everyone equated her b-day with the 911 terrorist attacks.

I told her to remember that it was also the anniversary of the Battle of Brandywine which was the turning point of the American Revolutionary War.
