I'll bet some orderly is nagging him. Screw that! Anyone that lives to that age earns the right to do what they want!

What is a pc anti smoker though? The smell of cigarette smoke makes me gag, how is that pc? Also, this totally doesn't "chap my ass". It's all about statistics. Statistically you will live longer if you are a non-smoker. This is not a guarantee. I quit smoking and before I did I never would have believed the smell would bother me. I had quite before, for like a year, maybe six months. And the smell never bothered me. I used to hate people like me, waiving their hands even outside. Now I totally do that! Maybe that's how you know you're really done. When you can't stand it.

But I know that quitting didn't guarantee me more years by any means. It made them statistically likelier, that's all you can do. I could die of lung cancer anyway, or I can be killed when I get into my car shortly.

Must not take the easy shot

They use mean annual and five year means in trend analysis. Don't tell me I have to explain the difference to you. "

That seems to be a very common reaction of ex-smokers when they come in contact with cigarette smoke - higher sensitivity to it than experienced by the average non-smoker (barring alergies, asthma, etc.).

This man is no one of my heroes. Probably votes Republican, too.

Cigars are not cigarettes. Cigarette smoke is typically inhaled, so you can get lung cancer, emphysema, and all that wonderful stuff. With cigars you're only putting yourself at risk for mouth cancer.

If you inhale a cigar you die instantly.
