Exclamation To Salute or Not Salute?

The latest right wing outrage. I'm surprised all you lovers of Drudge haven't posted this yet. Impeach him!

    Put blame where it belongs
ATF decided it could not regulate bump stocks during the Obama administration.
It that time," the NRA wrote in a statement. "The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semiautomatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."
The ATF and Obama admin. ignored the NRA recommendations.

What do you expect? This is another drop of outrage in a sea of outrageous behavior, coming from a man who thrives on behaving outrageously. While not excusing him, I can say that I understand why it happened:
    1) He's got a lot on his little twisted Stalinist mind right now! Dealing with an administration so rotten, festering and riddled with scandal, and just finding out about it on the news last week? Why, I'd be a little off my game, too!
    2) He went back and shook the Marine's hand. I assume he apologized for not returning the salute, but I would have given him a complete pass if he would have returned the salute after apologizing. That shows respect and humility. The hand salute is a traditional gesture of respect and honor between warriors. Obama is not fit to have the label "warrior" associated with his name anyway, so even when he returns the salutes, I have always considered it an empty gesture.

So every president before Reagan wasn't fit to be called a warrior?

It was a breach of protocol, it is no big deal.
At no time did anyone in the Obama Administration EVER know what anyone ELSE in the Obama administration was doing at ANY time.

has anyone noticed how often the marines fail to respond to his returned salute? military etiquette says to return a salute after being saluted by dropping your salute immediately, not waiting until the person being saluted is well past, unless you are in a formation passing in review.

re: your signature, in a government as large as ours is, at no time do people at the top know everything that people at the bottom are doing, it is the responsibility of supervisors and up the chain of management to report and deal with problems following the rules. if there is a question, then that question needs to be sent up the chain of management until a decision is made.
