The survey noted that the Israeli government regulates the price of gasoline,
and that taxes typically make up about half the cost of a gallon of gas. It also
noted that while Israel taxes gasoline, it simultaneously subsidizes oil to the
tune of some $565 million per year.

Mr. Sciacca, 28, was a member of the Giannini crew, a group of Queens-based wiseguys who worked on a freelance basis for three of the city's five Mafia families over the last 10 years, the government says. He admitted in court on Monday to taking part in three kidnappings, two attempted murders, one murder conspiracy and two actual murders, in which he disposed of the evidence by setting the corpses on fire.

Each time he was asked by Judge Roanne L. Mann to explain precisely what he did, Mr. Sciacca described his violent acts as if they were trips to the post office or the dry cleaners.

''I poured gasoline in the car on the bodies and lit the match,'' he said of the 1992 killings of John Ruisi and Steven Pagnozzi.

    Mafia Minor-Leaguers

The government says the Giannini crew was a sort of farm team for La Cosa Nostra. The group of would-be Mafiosi hung out at the Caffe Giannini on Fresh Pond Road in Ridgewood, Queens.

They began their criminal careers as a punch-happy street gang called the Ridgewood Boys or the Ridgewood Juniors, the authorities say. By the early 1990's, they had hooked up with an older set of men called the Ridgewood Seniors, which the government says hooked up with some local men involved in a more sophisticated level of organized crime.

    I mopped 40 landings in a 8 hour shift. Every 3 or 4 landings
you have to change the water. The rails have to be wiped down.
Lightning strike me down. I did better without the helper.

I’m a engineer. Every other day I hung out at NY Dolls. It’s across the street.

How did you find the place?

I have a small piece of property out front. The house in the island
where the kids are is a 100 x 100 lot. You need a blower.

The old fart is just another out of touch throwback Republican moron that hasn't learned that this isn't the 50's anymore. No surprise there.

This reaction I find interesting though:

Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, the number two Republican in the upper chamber, was also quick to seek distance from the comment. He blasted Young in a statement, saying migrant workers come to the country for work and opportunities, not to "hear ethnic slurs and derogatory language from elected officials."

"The comments used by Rep. Young do nothing to elevate our party, political discourse or the millions who come here looking for economic opportunity," he continued.

In that order. Party first, political discourse second, people third.

    Party first.

    Right or wrong?

In physics and electrical engineering, a conductor is an object
or type of material that allows the flow of charge in one or more
directions. Materials made of metal are common electrical conductors.

It seems, to some on the left, that the right-wing is more about the right-wing fantasy of bigotry and fascism and a preference for their socialism on a national and international basis than about being legal to the laws or about equal protection of the laws or even more about capitalism.
