Default Freedom of Speech, ....... Democrat style

RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - You can still boo or hiss at a basketball, baseball, or football game, but if you try it at a Riverhead town board meeting, you could be told it’s against the rules.
The board voted four to one to approve the new rule at meetings saying that the public cannot make distracting sounds like booing or hissing.
Councilman James Wooten was the one vote against it.

    Put blame where it belongs
ATF decided it could not regulate bump stocks during the Obama administration.
It that time," the NRA wrote in a statement. "The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semiautomatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."
The ATF and Obama admin. ignored the NRA recommendations.

A sporting event is quite different from a meeting and this particular group's majority decided they wanted this rule.

There are other ways to voice your disagreement, public testimony is one.

I don't much care what party anyone belongs to.....my point was, its freedom of speech, democrat style.....ie, "in the style of Democrats"....

Party affilation at the town council level means nothing.....in my town, candidates, , usually being unopposed... run on both tickets....

Fail. I thought you were going to point out that the opposition was Republican. Lol
Leviticus 19:33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not do him wrong. 34 The stranger that sojourneth with you shall be unto you as the homeborn among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

How convenient...find out the town council you were bitching about is filled with Righties and not Democrats, immediately start back pedaling and claiming you only meant "in the style " of Democrats...LMAO!!

This was an arrogant town council filled with angry Righties who don't believe they should be subjected to dissenters expressing their opinions...funny how Righties didn't mind vocal opposition when it was Tea Baggers doing the vocalizing at meetings.

Claiming I said it ?.....its plainly written in the opening post, asshole.....its not even debatable, its not in the tiniest bit ambiguous....the words are there to see.

    Of course it's debateable...of COURSE it's ambiguous!

NOWHERE did you bother pointing out that this anti-booing bill was pushed through the town council meeting by a town council FILLED with Righties.

If you'd pointed out that particular fact in your OP you might be believable when you claimed you don't care what party controls the town council.

Except you didn't...until you got busted lying.

And you said not a word regarding the political makeup of the town council in the hopes no one would call you on your horseshit.

OOOOPSIE...too bad...you got busted lying your ass off and now your credibility is Z-E-R-O!

You tried to imply that it is Liberals that want to outlaw voicing a dissenting position in this case...only that's not the case...it's hypocritical Righties who don't want any dissent in their meetings.

What makes you think these people are righties? This is a New York town.

For your information, dumbass, in NY State, Republicans are liberal, and Democrats are socialist.
