Leviticus 19:33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not do him wrong. 34 The stranger that sojourneth with you shall be unto you as the homeborn among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

I found it interesting that there are people who believe in heaven but don't believe in hell.......
There are plenty of those.
This is long but worth it.

Did you mean the opposite? That's much stranger.
We need to create a new religion then, one without a heaven but with a hell.
"Do not think that I came to bring peace... I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." - Matthew 10:34
back to the OP, I should think there is no surprise that those who think there is no consequences are more willing to do things than those who think there may be consequences.....
however the title of the thread is an outright lie......the study indicated that those who believed in heaven AND hell were less likely to commit a dishonest act......those who believed in heaven but did NOT believe in hell were more likely........so I guess those who don't believe there is a heaven are more willing to post misrepresentations in thread titles......

They can commit the crime, repent and still get into heaven.

I think it has to do with forgiveness, plus, a lot of the new aged Christians are rejecting the idea of Hell as an eternal punishment, unless you have sinned against the Holy Spirit. There is the concept that all will have a last chance to repent and turn to Jesus after the final battle between Jesus and Satan.
