    Default Democratic Debate

I just finished watching the Democratic youtube debate on CNN.

The best part of the night, was when they had some real yahoo on, who asked the candidates to talk about their opinions on guns, because he wanted to know that "his baby" was going to be safe. Then, he leaned over and picked up some kind of gigantic automatic, or, semi-automatic weapon and said "this is my baby."

And Joe Biden says "I'll tell ya, if that's his baby he's got problems." And then went on to state that the guy probably just disqualified himself from owning any kind of gun on account of mental instability. It was so great!

And, then this, which came as a big surprise to me.

If Hillary wins, she's picking Edwards as her running mate, and he's going to take the spot. After watching them tonight, I have no doubt.

Kinda what I figured. Clinton/Edwards. I figured either that or Clinton/Obama.
I did not watch the debate, had other more important things to do . Like napping before I work tonight.
Bush doubled the debt from 5 trillion to 10 trillion.
    Proving tax cuts work!

Bush asked for and signed for the TARP money.
The Republican senate leader backed Bush on this.

I loved that part with Biden and the gun (baby) too.

I didn't hear Hillary and Edwards decide about running mates.

Biden sounds like a real jackass.

Not the neos, the religious conservatives. Get your strains of conservative right, young man .

LOL, I wonder if anyone in Mississippi's going to run on a platform against the religious right? God. There's the right, the religious right, and the conservative populists in Mississippi. It's the exact opposite of my beliefs.

I'm going to send a letter to every business owner in San Fransisco saying: "Help! I'm trapped in Mississippi! Will work for food scraps."

It really was funny Cawacko, and they were all probably thinking it (I know I was, you had to see this guy), but few if any of the others would have said it. Maybe Gravel would have. But you know that Clinton, Obama and Edwards weren't going to touch it.

No, they didn't say anything, but did you watch them? Hillary was between Obama and Edwards, and whenever Obama talked (or anyone else), she was not nodding her head. Not at all. But nearly everytime Edwards spoke, she nodded her head along with what he was saying. I think he's her pick. If she wins.

That's awesome. But too bad I had to write him off months ago.

I know, me too. But he's an unscripted guy, so provides some good moments even so.

I think Edwards was on fire last night.

I especially like the part, where Hillary, Obama and others were blathering on about the need to come together and find bipartisan solutions. And Edwards responded: screw that. We need somebody who will stand up and do the right thing, by standing up against big pharma and big corporate special interests -- that we needed someone who stands up for working people.

No, Biden was funny. The dude with the youtube video looked like an insane asshole. I couldn't tell what kind of rifle he was snuggling with like it was "his baby", but it looked like an automatic assualt rifle.

LOL - yeah, whats up with the kumbaya stuff? I has some doubt that Edwards was a heart-felt populist until last night. He solidified his populist street cred with me last night.
