Okay, the only numbers that really count are the election day results. The polls dont really count. With all the whining and complaining and denying of them by Republicans you would think that they were the determining factor... not the actual votes.

None the less the polls are the only meaningfull measure we have to judge the current state of the race. Currently, Republican bellyaching aside, by almost all accounts the Presidnet is ahead and very likely to get a second term. So, why go on? Why have the rest of the election? BECAUSE THINGS CAN CHANGE!

Most likely, barring any major gaffs or huge political events or other October suprise, things at this point will not change much, one canidate or the other will move up or down a point or two. But if Romney belives the polls, all indications are that he does, and if Romney is desperate, if its been his life's desire to be President he is, then we can expect some fireworks at the debate, some risky moves. Risky moves are just by there nature, likely to backfire. But what if they dont? This race is not over yet, there is plenty of green between here and next month...

Lets wait for the October Suprise... Lets see what might happen...

The Debate is Wenesday, Romney does not have much to lose... This could get very exciting!
