Default is a war developing between china, japan and taiwan over some north china sea islands

or just a lot of diplomatic pushing and shoving (with ships being deployed) because of government internal problems or hard feelings left over from wwii

and will the us let itself get involved

then there are the south china sea islands disputed between china, the philipines and viet nam

or is this just the opening round in a global pursuit for natural resources

There was a huge demonstration in Saigon over the Spratleys when I was there last year.

Word on the street here suggests some serious sabre rattling followed by serious business sanctions.

If you feel so inclined a comment would be appreciated.

Monkey see monkey do. Asia has always copied what works from the west.

Did this demonstration include aircraft carriers? Because that's what we use to back up claims. It's more effective than poster board.
