    Default Obsessed with Goats!

Our government is obsessed with goats. First they spend good money for jackasses to sit around trying to mindf*ck goats and get them to take commands telepathically. Personally, I would not be surprised to find out that the goats turned the tables on our highly paid jackasses, and ended up getting them to do what the goats told them to do.

    Now, this from Trent Lott:

If the answer is 'build a fence' I've got two goats on my place in Mississippi. There ain't no fence big enough, high enough, strong enough, that you can keep those goats in that fence.

"Now people are at least as smart as goats. Maybe not as agile. Build a fence. We should have a virtual fence. Now one of the ways I keep those goats in the fence is I electrified them. Once they got popped a couple times they quit trying to jump it."

He's an idiot. I have goats, they stay in the fence. Get an electric fence along the top and stop putting crap near the fence for them to jump over.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.
    - -- The Buddha

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

Well, we are talking about the man who made the claim that the whole country would be a better place if segregationist Strum Thurmond had won the Presidency.
