I wonder what the most recognizable one is? Right now I think Mad Men has to be up there. Of course Friends. But i bet classic ones, The Odd Couple has to top the list, or close to it.

OK.....this may be a bit corny....but no one has ever outdone the theme song for The Lone Ranger, aka, The William Tell Overture.

Goes back to the 1930's radio program and into the 50's, 60's and 70's TV but it's probably the most recognizable intro to a program ever. Everyone thinks of The Lone Ranger when they hear the William Tell Overture.
