Republicans would do well to critisize Obama"s complete ineptness of running the economy vs defending bush.
They set the trap and you dive in.

When Obama took office, the economy was losing hundreds of thousands of jobs each month, GM was failing and the market was below 10,000 and continuing to crash.

The economy is now adding jobs, GM had a record quarter and the market is closing in on 13,000 and rising.

So no, he didn't make things worse.

if he's lucky, by election day things will be the same as they were when he took office....yet our national debt will be $5trillion or more higher.......so don't pretend he hasn't made it worse.....

Be the same? As I said, the market will be higher, GM is better off, and companies will be hiring & not firing.

If your gauge is "national debt," every President in modern history has "made it worse."

I remember the Dems campaigning in 08 that Bush "made it worse" than all the other presidents before him combined.....will they campaign in '12 that the fact Obama exceeded him in half the time isn't really a bad thing............

Didn't you praise Bush for "taking care of" the dot-com busts w/ his tax cuts?

By PMP's gauge, Bush was an utter failure, because the national debt increased during his tenure. Do you disagree w/ that?
