More of Yurt's typical "do as I say and not as I do" attitude.

Everyone watch now as he tries to justify his double standard.

They tried to deny that this was the worst recession since the '30s yet now it is apparent to all, the new tactic is to say that Obama was totally responsible.

Clinton takes some blame for signing away the Glass-Steagall act, but the banking crisis happened on Bush's watch.

Clinton was still president when the dot.com failures happened- Bush fixed that mess with tax cuts. Though I say those tax cuts were misguided in light of the fact they did not have spending cuts to match them.

No. The guy who crashed the economy bears responsibility for crashing the economy.

No, most of the blame. He had eight years to regulate the banks and financial institutions. The Sarbanes–Oxley Act of 2002 was a toothless tiger.

Are you saying He and other republicans did not make attempts? I can post numerous video of democrats who had the actual power, deride and refuse republican led efforts.

If I say that Clinton takes some of the blame, how do you interpret that as Bush takes all the blame.

SF will you tell you that a strong president would have found a way. It was patently obvious from the time of Worldcomm and Enron that something was seriously wrong with financial regulation in the US. There were many that were pointing out that it was a ticking timebomb waiting to explode.

I just hope the next president has some ideas to change things, because the current one just made things worse..........
