What was once looked at as a charming Hispanic heritage has became a battle ground between some Mexican-Americans and political groups in a Sun Belt city in Arizona. As that ethnic population has increased, the undercurrent divisions in Tucson have surfaced and grown.

Recent elections have done little to calm the environment. Could the 2012 election bring representatives that recognize what the dissention is doing to the city and bring all sides together?
