    big oil talks and the saudis normally would be condemned as a totalitarian government but we need their oil and their good will

    Most of our oil comes from Canada and Mexico. Selling off surplus and useless (to us) war planes is a good way to trim defense spending and turn our old equipment into MONEY. Ya know, fo that deficit thingy.
