    LOL

Addressing reporters directly after the debate, Perry said, ”I’m glad I had my boots on tonight. I stepped in it out there.”

Geebus... Bush part IV he would be.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

I am no fan of Rick Perry, but give tge guy a break. Have you never lost a word for something you absolutely knew? If you had not asked me I could have told you kind of thing...

To me it's silly to get on this guy for such a thing that happens to everyone. It was painfully to watch but kinda elitest to attack him for it, dontcha think?

For some maybe. I had a great time watching it! I had no idea that Perry was hitting the bong before debates? That's the first thing about him that I've ever liked! If I had to be on a stage with the rest of that clown car, I'd totally get high beforehand too.

I don't see how this is troublesome for Mr Perrys.

In the 222 years the US has been having Presidents (a bad decision in the first place, but let us not dwell on such matters) i would be staggered to learn of any occasion which has arisen requiring the President of the United States of America to remember more than two things at one time.

    Chin up, Mr Perrys.

while there is much to your post, this guy wants the top job in the nation and needs to be able to think on his feet

if this was the first time that he kind of stepped in it i would agree, but it is not

he is not a good debater and the president needs to be good at debate, among other things

I'm starting to like him because he's such a mimbo. We need more empty-headed but good looking men in government. At least, unlike Newt and so many of the others, this guy knows he's dumb as shit. You can just tell. If he runs I'm going to vote for him and I'm going to get a button "It's about time we had a stupid piece of ass in the White House".

You tell me that's not a winning slogan!

Darla, you may very well be the new Karl Roves (but obviously not quite so evil )

I'm just wondering whether Mr Perrys could swing some votes behind the Texas Express with the aid of a series of Presidential election ads featuring, perhaps, a nude wrestling scene with his chosen Vice-Presidential candidate, in a tasteful Women in Love pastiche?

I don't know, he is low of my list of presidential candidates, but it certainly was a human moment for him.

I don't feel sorry for any conservatives, whether they be republican or democratic. They hurt people. And they don't care.

I don't agree at all, perry is giving illegal immigrants instate tuition. Granted a lot of conservatives hate him cause he has a heart.
