Too big to fail = too big to exist.
Prosecute criminals.
Don't steal from the hungry to give to the rich.
These are not deep concepts.
But you'll wake up only when it happens to you. Some people, I'm one of them, can grasp something even when I'm not the one suffering. Others cannot. Those are almost always Republicans.
Stem cell research? NO! MURDER!
My husband died of Alzheimer disease? Now it's different. Now I feel it. Now I'm for it.
That's a defective human being, and that my friend, is a Republican.
Yet none of them appear to be protesting for this, at least not from what they tell us. You just assign what you want them to protest rather than what they are telling you they are there for.
I agree with some of what you have to say (not them, you).
Too big to fail = too big to exist... I can live with that.
Put criminals in jail. I'm good with this.
Don't steal and give the money away to "the rich"... This too I'm good with.
Pretending that nobody can understand this concept except you.. That is just egotism. Too bad we can't run a car from the sense of self-worth of people who believe that kind of rubbish, we'd never have to use fossil fuels again, unfortunately the only use for it we've ever seen is for jacking off their own self-esteem. They do this by saying stupid things like, "You just can't see it, but <insert group they belong to> can because we are so much better than you!"
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
