How many people have read from Beirut to Jerusalem by Thomas Friedman? I know I am way late to this one but thought I'd read it anyway. Was looking for something with a good history of the Middle East post WWI and how it got to what it is today. Three quarters of the way through and although and am enjoying it even though it is not up to date.

Two Cheers for Capitalism by Irving Kristol

The Cultural Contradictions of Capitalism by Daniel Bell

Irving Kristol was the god-father of Neo-Conservatism and Daniel Bell the Chief Economic Guru for the Neo-Conservatives.

Hopefully, these reads will set the idiots straight about Neo-Conservatism.

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

Karl Marx: The Communist Manifesto. If you haven't read that, you will constantly be manipulated by crooks. It is only the beginning of a reading programme, but read it several times, and learn to understand it.
