Gah, this is probably my least favorite drug ever. I thought you were supposed to see colors and have a changed perception under the influence of psychedelics? It was really more like being drunk, except with anxiety. Whenever I wasn't talking to my friends I just sat in a corner and felt suicidally depressed, like I was the worst, most awful person in the universe.

Might depend on your mood prior, as well as your company.

I've alwasy wondered, what would it be like to mix PCP, with LSD? I mean, I'd love to see how that would affect someone. They'd be physically unstoppable and probably be seeing all sorts of crazy demons and try to fight them.

We should give it to gorillas and find out.

It's kind of a myth that psychedelics make you see demons. I didn't get any change in visual perception at all. When I close my eyes, I guess the patterns were sort of different, but not dramatically so.

I also don't think that PCP really deserves its reputation. The acts of violence committed under its influence were mainly people who had a history of violence anyway; I'm guessing that the anesthetic qualities of the drug* just allowed them to indulge in their violent qualities without feeling much pain. It's a dissociative, so it's effects should actually be pretty close to large quantities of DXM (robo-tripping) and Ketamine, and those drugs don't have reputations for violent behavior.

*It was actually first used as a method of knocking somewhat out for surgery. Of course, you couldn't stay alive under such large doses without hospital equipment forcing you to continue breathing.

I dunno man, I've talked to several people on acid and it's totally different from shrooms.

    So basically, you felt normal???

The problem was probably in how your shrooms were processed. It takes someone who really knows what the hell they are doing, or you end up with impotent shrooms. When I did them, it was like music took on a whole new dimension... it was like looking at art... and lights 'danced' and pulsated with the music... similar to acid.

The guy who made them said it was a rather weak batch and that he didn't go anywhere either.

When I did shrooms, I don't recall seeing anything that wasn't there, but there were alterations to things that were there.

Two things stand out in my memory (clouded though it may be). One was riding on River Road in Tuscaloosa with a car load of stoned folks. You know how you get a wrinkle in a rug and can push it in front of your hand? Well there was a wrinkle in the road in front of the car. So when the car turned and started up a steep hill I was sorta freaked.

I say that I didn't see anything that wasn't there, but I did see the animated movie Wizards after a good batch of shroom tea. I haven't ever seen it again, but I think the movie I watched was different from the one the rest of the folks in the theater saw.

acid affected me the same as waterdorks shrooms, I was bartending and the club hangaround usually gave me and the other bartender a half a tab. One day he tells me he coudln't break it and gave us each a whole tab, ok you know the story I had to freak at that point and hold on to the bar like it was moving at warp speed. I spent the rest of the night thinking the owners eyes were glued on me.
If you are in a social setting its less of an affect, a buddy called me at the same job a different day on acid saying the trees in his yard were attacking him in his house.
