Default A mental disorder ?....Now there is proof.

" How come in the `30s, when we suffered a far worse economic decline, the rich were embarrassed? They were embarrassed by what they had done. People were jumping out of buildings. People were — it was horrendous. There was a real sense of shame, shame by the very rich." --- CHRIS MATTHEWS:

ATF decided it could not regulate bump stocks during the Obama administration.
It that time," the NRA wrote in a statement. "The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semiautomatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."
The ATF and Obama admin. ignored the NRA recommendations.

Apparently, Greed as a mental illness was not socialy acceptable then, as it is now. That you and ID are O.K. with the devastating effect rampant greed has had on the country and world is not surprising.
It is the responsibility of every American citizen to own a modern military rifle.

"why the ‘very-rich’ are not embarrassed and jumping off buildings in shame like they did in the 1930′s"

It wasn't the very rich who were jumping off buildings in the 30's. It was the very rich who were suddenly very poor! There was no bailout in the 30's. The greedy bastards lost their money when the markets crashed and feared poverty so much they killed themselves.

It's a different story today. Stealing from the poor by taking a down payment and loaning money at one interest rate and then raising it knowing the person could not make the payments on the loan and then repossessing the goods (homes) and selling them at a profit. Unfortunately, the latter end of the plan fell apart as the goods (homes) lost value. So then came the bailout.

Shame??? HA! About as much shame as Marie-Antoinette had in 1789.

Oh yes. I remember. The socket set. The oil. The open bonnet. But worse was the neighbour, there was always THAT neighbour, who watched for a minute and the said something like, 'Mmm, thought you'd have trouble with that as soon as I saw it. The 1979 model was not one of their best.' only to disappear for his Sunday lunch as you knew that you probably would not have fixed the problem til tea time at the earliest.
    Yes, I remember.

If you feel so inclined a comment would be appreciated.

I think it's going to be well past tea time before my problem is fixed. I plan on giving the mechanic a hand. I just picked up a head gasket from a local supplier this morning. Wasn't sure if he carried them so I ordered a head set from England yesterday. My mechanic won't touch it unless he has replacement parts on hand or quickly available. The car can't be taking up a bay waiting for parts while other customers are waiting.

I'm getting too old for this.

Demanding taxes from those making 200,000 bucks a year and more which would include them. As for any of them donating their money why would they do that when the rest of the country continues on the same path? Nothing would change. Why should they be expected to give their money when others are not expected to do so?

Let's see a link proving that none of them are donating to charity.

No one claimed they weren't giving something to charity...the pertinent phase is "excessive wealth".....

like Clinton could give 80 mill. to charity in that 10 years...20 ought to be enough to keep in hookers for the decade....did he give up the 80 M. ?
Kerry could give up 100 mill. how can you spend 238 million dollars on yourself....
Oprah makes 275 mill. a year average.....isn't 75 million a year enough for her...give the rest to the Salvation Army...

Of course we're making fun here dummy.....but you get the point don't you ?

We don't demand they spend their money in a certain way....because
They have a right to spend THEIR bucks anyway they see fit and they have no right to tell others how they should use their money....

Remember Kerry's mooring his boat out of state to avoid taxes?
