Default Federal Government Opportunity: Security for the FEMA camps

This acquisition is for approximately 1,000,000 hours of basic service, 100,000 hours of temporary additional services and 40,000 hours of emergency security services per year. There are an estimated 600 guards protecting approximately 200 posts at over 130 buildings. A competitive 5-year indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract consisting of a 1-year base and four 1-year option periods for PSO services is contemplated in order to maintain continuity of operations, and ensure that FPS meets its mission requirements of safeguarding federal employees and federal property, as well as citizens at these locations throughout the states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
