Default The opportunity you have been waiting for.

I don't know how to refer to people anymore.
Do you call Mexicans Mexicans or Hispanics or Latinos or...or...the latest.
How about black people? Are they black people, negroes, African Americans, People of colour? .. or what?
Homosexuals? Can we say that in America? Gay means happy and joyful and I am sure some homosexuals are but so are many others. Poufs? Isn't that something you put your feet on when watching TV? Benders? A machine used in construction for bending rebar.... I am confused.
Anyway, I was just thinking that allowing homosexuals into the armed forces might not be a bad idea. War might be a parade in which the winners are those with the best guy-liner or highest heels.
Meanwhile the rest of us could get on with the main business to hand of beating the shit out of the opposing football supporters.
Oh, do you have anything new for other minorities? Obviously not Brits...sorry AssHole and Trixie and the others whose names were never sufficiently important for me to remember.

If you feel so inclined a comment would be appreciated.

Respect a believers right to believe, but they should damn well repect our right to challenge such utterly illogical notions.

LImes were a staple on British ships during the wind powered navy. They were on board to prevent scurvy, least ways that is the story I heard.
