I didn't say the world was over populated I just gave you the solution. Over population is relative to technology the world of 1800 wasn't capable of sustaining 6.7 billion but so long as the right research is done and the proper investments made in 2050 the world could easily sustain 9 billion people. The world needs to develop efficient electic cars to replace oil. The world needs to invest in renewable energy. America needs to replace coal power with nuclear power. Food production increases every year new technology will greatly increase food production as well as America's current agricultural technology is being used in third world country to rapidly increase food production. Energy is the problem of the futur if that problem is solved the world could hold far more then 9 billion in 2050.

It has been that way throughout history luckily the science had all ways come to allow human population to grow without any serious problems the same is true for the future. The human race must either invest in technology or invest in limiting the population of the human race. I suggest people in invest in the technology necessary to ensure the world can sustain an additional 3 billion.
