In general it's bad to be ruled by people who do not reside within or have sufficient connection to the people of your nation. Rulers from afar are not sufficiently concerned with the state of affairs, standard of living, freedoms etc. They will more and more think of you as the "other" to be used for THEIR benefit.
One world wide tyrannical structure is not better than separate nations.
1) Do you love your country or not?
2) Are you willing to risk losing the rule of natural law as your standard for order in place of mobacracy, theocracy, monarchy and/or autocracy, or plutocracy?
3) How efficient can a new world order be? Just look at how difficult it is to govern the US as it has grown from 13 states to 50 plus possessions. Look at how difficult it was for the USSR to govern all of its territories, rife with ethnic and cultural conflict as they were.
