One reason I think Primaries should be abolished. So few people turn up that the results can hardly be said to be fair.
Has anyone heard how voter turnout has been running? I read that they were expecting about 40% participation.

Well this is by far the most important primary in the nation. The primaries in most other states are jokes. It's almost unimaginable for an incumbent to actually be defeated in the generals, in the primaries it happens once every decade or so.
